Our Solution
Working carefully within a live hospital environment, our engineers planned and delivered the project with minimal disruption to critical services.
As part of the upgrade, redundant high-level fibre optic and fire alarm cabling was safely removed, creating a cleaner and more efficient cable infrastructure across the site. Existing high-level catenary wire was also removed as part of the first-fix works.
To strengthen connectivity throughout the hospital, we supplied and installed 24 new 10G fibre optic links, creating a resilient, high-speed backbone between key buildings. Two additional OS2 singlemode fibre links were installed between the West and East Core network cabinets, increasing network resilience and future capacity. New fibre management trays were also installed within each cabinet to ensure a tidy, professional installation that supports future maintenance and expansion.
Every fibre optic link was fully tested and certified using our Fluke fibre optic analyser, with comprehensive PDF certification provided to the client upon completion.
